Do you know who scored the first century for India ,Bangladesh or Pakistan in a T-20 cricket match?

I'm going to talk about the players who scored the first century for their nation in a T-20 international cricket match.

  • Westindies: Chris Gayle of the West Indies scored the first century (100 runs or more) in an international Twenty20 match against South Africa in 2007. He hit 10 sixes and 11 fours in 117 runs off 57 balls. This was the first century in T20 international cricket, as well as the fastest century in T20 international cricket at the time. Since then, many players from various teams, including India, Australia, South Africa, England, and New Zealand, have scored centuries in T20 internationals.

Rohit Sharma (india )


  • India: Rohit Sharma scored India's first century in an international Twenty20 match in a match against South Africa in 2007. He scored an unbeaten century, scoring 100 not out off 64 balls, with 10 fours and 5 sixes. This was the second century in T20 international cricket history, following Chris Gayle's century for West Indies.

Tamim Iqbat (bcb)


  • Bangladesh :Tamim Iqbal was the first Bangladeshi player to score a century in an International T20 match. He achieved this feat in the 2nd T20I against Zimbabwe on November 24, 2018. Tamim scored 103 runs off 63 balls with 10 fours and 3 sixes, helping Bangladesh to win the match by 51 runs. This century was the first for Bangladesh in T20 internationals and also the first for Tamim in T20 internationals.
Shane Watson (Australia)


  • Australia: Shane Watson scored Australia's first-century in an international Twenty20 match in the 2010 World Twenty20 against England. He hit an unbeaten century, scoring 124 runs off 71 balls, with 11 fours and four sixes. This was Australia's first T20 international century, as well as Watson's first.
Ahmed Shehzad (pcb)


  • Pakistan : The first century for Pakistan in an international Twenty20 match was scored by Ahmed Shehzad in the 2014 World Twenty20 match against Sri Lanka. He scored an unbeaten century, with a score of 111 runs, which came off 62 balls, with 12 fours and 3 sixes. This century was the first for Pakistan in T20 internationals and also the first for Ahmed Shehzad in T20 internationals.

Hazratullah Zazai


  • Afganistan : Hazratullah Zazai is the first centurion for Afghanistan in an international Twenty20 match against Ireland in 2019. He scored an unbeaten century of 162 runs off 62 balls, with 11 fours and 16 sixes. This century was Afghanistan's first in T20 internationals, as well as Hazratullah Zazai's first in T20Is, and it was also the second highest individual score in T20I history.
Mahela Jayawardene


  • Srilanka : Mahela Jayawardene was the first Sri Lankan player to score a century in an International T20 match. He achieved this feat in the 2nd T20I against Zimbabwe on September 18, 2007. Jayawardene scored 100 runs off just 48 balls with 10 fours and 3 sixes, helping Sri Lanka to win the match by 8 wickets. This century was the first for Sri Lanka in T20 internationals and also the first for Jayawardene in T20 internationals.

  • England : The first century for England in an international Twenty20 match was scored by Alex Hales in the 2014 T20I match against Sri Lanka. He scored an unbeaten century, with a score of 116 runs, which came off 64 balls, with 12 fours and 4 sixes. This century was the first for England in T20 internationals and also the first for Alex Hales in T20 internationals.

Richard Levi


  • South Africa: The first century for South Africa in an international Twenty20 match was scored by Richard Levi in the 2012 T20I match against New Zealand. He scored an unbeaten century, with a score of 117 runs, which came off just 51 balls, with 13 fours and 7 sixes. This century was the first for South Africa in T20 internationals and also the first for Richard Levi in T20 internationals. It was also the fastest century ever scored in T20 internationals at that time, and the second fastest century in T20 cricket.

Colin Munro


  • New Zealand: The first century for New Zealand in an international Twenty20 match was scored by Colin Munro in the 2017 T20I match against Windies. He scored an unbeaten century, with a score of 104 runs, which came off 53 balls, with 6 fours and 8 sixes. This century was the first for New Zealand in T20 internationals and also the first for Colin Munro in T20 internationals.

Zimbabwe has not yet had a player score a century in an International T20 match. However there are several notable high scores by Zimbabwean players in T20I. To my knowledge, no Zimbabwean player has yet scored a century in T20 international match.
